Is it possible to fall in love with bakes goods? Family run Mardy's Munchies is my #1 choice in sweets. Find Steve at a local Farmer's Market, or contact them via their website and have them deliver to your door. If you live outside of LA, don't worry, they deliver via FedEx. I have ordered cupcakes and tarts this way. My personal fave cupcakes are Lemon Groves and Fraga Wants S'Mores.
Valentine's Day was coming up, wanted to get the LOML (love of my life) something but didn't want to send flowers and candies to his office. Also to a man's heart is his stomach, so there you have it! Found this place and emailed the people and asked them all the questions I had. They responded in a timely manner. I ordered my dozen of peanut butter chocolate cupcakes, lets just say these were BOMB, not too sweet and come on PEANUT BUTTER! you really can't go wrong! Cupcake was moist and you can really taste all the flavors!! Needless to say, i will use these people again, a bit pricey but it was worth it for me. =)
Yummy! I ordered 3 dozen mini cupcakes for an office baby shower based on the Yelp reviews. I ordered a dozen each of coconut, red velvet and lemon. The coconut were by far the faves. The cupcakes were moist and fluffy at the same time! Delicious! Ordering by e-mail was very easy, Steve was very polite and had great quality service, including the delivery to my DTLA office. He even threw in pink sprinkles upon my request! I'll definitely scoop these up again!
I found Mardy's Munchies this Wednesday at a little Bazzar @ the Eagle Rock Plaza cold and windy I almost didn't stop in. Walking through the Bazzar I found that regardless of the weather the vendors were not leaving.. After a few minutes of wandering around I ended up at Mardy's Munchies.... Where I saw boxes of Carrot Cake and these little pie creations which later were to be called Rasberry Crumbles. So I bought 2 Raspberry Crumbles & 1 box of Carrot Cake that literally weighed in at 1.5 lbs... Getting home I dove right into the Raspberry Crumble.... WOW was it good my mouth and belly were very happy with these tasty delights... So then this morning was the Carrot Cake this I shared with my little baby boy of 3.5 months...... This little boy was going nuts for more after his 1st taste!! I almost thought based on the smile and his little demanding grunts and screams that I would not get anymore, that my son would enjoy this cake without me... My son and I are total fans of Mardy's Munchies and will see him again next Wednesday.... I recommend all come by and try him out!!!!
Best desserts ever!! I've had them ALL! I go to this place every Tuesday! My ultimate favorites are the churro cake & red velvet oh & the tres leches....yummers! What I loved the most is that the pastries remain fresh for days which means I can eat some today and the next day and the next day.
